How Nollywood Actor Mr Ibu Died After Heartbreaking Health Battle

Mr Ibu, the beloved Nollywood actor, passed away on Saturday evening due to complications from cardiac arrest, as confirmed by his manager, Don Single Nwuzo. The 62-year-old actor had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where he was receiving treatment for a relapse that occurred about a week ago.

Last year, Mr. Ibu underwent surgery to amputate one of his legs after a plea for help and prayers. His sudden demise has led to an outpouring of tributes from colleagues and fans alike. Known for his comedic roles in films such as “A Fool at Forty” and “Issakaba,” Mr. Ibu’s talent and humor have left a lasting impact on the Nigerian film industry.

Tragically, Mr. Ibu’s passing coincides with the death of another Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, also known as Sisi Quadri, who was laid to rest in Iwo, Osun State, on Saturday.
