How to Open a SmartCash Wallet using USSD

1 Dial *939#: Initiate the process by dialing *939# from your Airtel line.
2. Set Your PIN:  Input your preferred 4-digit PIN and confirm it for security.
3. Security Verification: Answer a security question to enhance account security.
4. Confirmation: Your SmartCash Wallet is created, and a new NUBAN Number will be displayed. Your phone number also serves as your account number.

How to Transfer Money with SmartCash

  • Dial the USSD code *939# on your Airtel mobile phone and follow the prompts.
  • Select 4 for “Transfer” from the main menu.
  • select 1 for transfer to other smartcash users or select 2 for transfer to other banks etc,
