Following global best practice, the Nigeria Railway Cooperation – NRC has launched its e-ticket platform and would begin issuing tickets to passengers online, especially those booking the Abuja-Kaduna rail line.

The minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi made this known via his Twitter handle. According to the minister, the e-tickets system will start with the Abuja-Kaduna rail line from January 20. 

Passengers that want to book a train with the Nigeria Railway Cooperation – NRC online should visit www.nrc.tps.ng.

How To Book Train Tickets Online With the Nigeria Railway Cooperation – NRC

There is no need to queue at the train station to buy tickets Since anyone can now easily go online and buy a ticket.

You can book a train ticket either on the NRC website or with the mobile app. 

To book a train ticket online,

• Visit the NRC e-tickets website at www.nrc.tps.ng
• Select your destination and travel date
• Click “Find my train” and select an available train, time, and seat number.
• Pay with your ATM card.

Now login with your Username and password (if you are a new user, you will need to sign up)

Passengers can also book train tickets online using the Nigeria Railway Cooperation – NRC mobile app. The app is available on the play store and can be downloaded here.

With the mobile app, you can book tickets online, find the nearest train station to you, and find support.
