Reno Omokri reveals Why Moses Bliss married from Ghana and not Nigeria

Controversial media figure Reno Omokri has shared his perspective on why Nigerian gospel singer Moses Bliss chose to marry a woman from Ghana rather than from Nigeria.

The couple recently tied the knot in a lavish ceremony that attracted Nigerian celebrities to the neighboring country.

Drawing from his experience during a brief stay in Ghana, Omokri suggested that Ghanaian women may be more relatable compared to many Nigerian women. He also noted that in Ghana, as well as in some other countries, women are capable of loving without expecting monetary compensation from men.

Omokri further highlighted the impact of visa restrictions, suggesting that if Nigeria had visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to more countries, there might be an increase in unmarried women in Nigeria. This could be because Nigerian men, while traveling within Africa, might encounter women who are not solely motivated by money, leading them to develop a preference for such women over Nigerian women.

Omokri’s comments reflect a broader concern about what he perceives as the monetization of relationships in Southern Nigeria, suggesting a need for cultural reorientation among women in the region. He emphasizes the importance of love without financial expectations and calls for a shift away from what he describes as the commercialization of romance in Southern Nigeria.
